God has called the Dioceses of Northwestern Pennsylvania and Western New York to a new adventure. We are headed off the map.
By consolidating our resources and collaborating more closely in mission, we are enhancing our ability to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and live its teachings in our daily lives.
Everyone is welcome in our churches and our communities. We strive, through God’s grace to overcome the barriers that divide our society and our church. These include, but aren’t limited to, differences in race, class, sexual orientation and gender identity.
As dioceses we extend a special invitation to those whom the church has excluded in the past.
Our dioceses are one church. Not 84 independent franchises, but one church witnessing to God’s love, mercy and justice across the southeastern shores of Lake Erie and beyond.
