missioner for administration (Diocesan office)

The Episcopal Partnership of the Dioceses of Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania seeks a full-time Missioner for Administration. This position will support the administrative operations of the Episcopal Partnership and members of its staff.

The Episcopal Partnership is an innovative cooperative relationship between the Episcopal Dioceses of Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania, which oversees 90 churches and has offices in Tonawanda, NY, and Erie, PA. This position will be based at the office in Tonawanda, NY, but some days in the Erie office will be required.

Job Duties
The Missioner for Administration will handle general administrative and support work and provide direct support to the Canon for Administration, the Canon to the Ordinary, and the Bishop.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will:

  •  Maintain confidentiality
  • Treat people respectfully
  • Attend to detail
  • Be a self-starter
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrate experience in Microsoft Office and the capacity to learn other computer
    software
  • Be able to compose and produce well-written emails, letters, and other documents
  • Be willing to work occasional nights and weekends.

A valid driver’s license and completion of standard background checks and safeguarding training as required by The Episcopal Church are required.
