Starting June 9, the partnership will host a series of online conversations focused on congregations’ use of communications technology. Each session will begin with a presentation from a congregation currently using technology in new ways, such as providing live streaming or hybrid worship. Congregational leaders will offer practical details, sample videos and advice on purchasing and deploying new equipment across a wide range of budgets and settings. Sessions will conclude with time for questions and comments.
The first five conversations will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 7:50 p.m., beginning next week:
To receive the Zoom link and a reminder about upcoming tech programs, email Gabrie’l Atchison.
In preparation for the series, attendees are encouraged to watch the Tech Talk series of videos from the Diocese of Western North Carolina and read an article about how St. Andrew’s, Burt is offering hybrid worship.
