“When we began this partnership in April 2019, we knew that God was calling us off the map,” Bishop Sean said. “But we could not have imagined just how far we would travel, and the ways our journey would take us beyond anything we have ever known.

“Although the COVID-19 pandemic is not yet over, we can begin to imagine a world and a church after the virus has been brought under control. In many ways, we are better positioned than many other parts of the church to recover from COVID. Long before the upheavals of 2020, we were committed to laying the groundwork for a new model of diocesan and congregational life. We are deeply committed to collaboration, to experimentation, and to learning from each other and our common experiences.”
