Emmaus Gatherings To Be Held Around The Region

In early December, members of both dioceses are invited to join Bishop Sean, Canon Ruth Woodliff-Stanley and other diocesan leaders at regional conversations, called Emmaus Gatherings. At the meetings, participants will have the opportunity to offer ideas and hopes about the future of our partnership and how we can direct our shared skills and experiences toward God’s mission in our region.

Emmaus Gatherings will be held on:

December 4, 6:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s, Jamestown, NY
December 5, 6:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s, Erie, PA
December 7, 10 a.m. at St. John’s, Franklin, PA
December 7, 6:30 p.m. at St. James, Batavia, NY
December 8, 3:30 p.m. at the Diocesan Center, Tonawanda, NY

Register online.

“We are in a season of opportunity. Now, we will broaden the conversations we’ve begun with more participants,” says Woodliff-Stanley, who will facilitate the gatherings. “We want your take. Now is the time for you to tell us what you want to see happen. Please join us for these important conversations to help shape our mission.”
