Emerging Mission and Ministry Grants: Applications Due January 1

Applications are due by January 1 for the Emerging Mission and Ministry Grants announced at diocesan convention.

The dioceses will award a total of $5,000 to support initiatives undertaken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Recipients will be notified by February 1.

These seed grants are intended to encourage innovative and creative mission and ministry, particularly in communities where funds for innovation may be lacking.

Applicants should exhibit collaboration, forward-thinking, and a willingness to adapt to change. The dioceses will give preference to initiatives that encourage the development of new ministry leaders, facilitate new community connections, or that may serve as a model for other congregations in the partnership.
