Easter Offering Continues Through May 31

During Holy Week and Easter Sunday, our partnership offering raised $3,145 for programs and organizations across our region that are meeting urgent needs for food during the pandemic. Contributions will be accepted through May 31, Pentecost Sunday.

The first round of donations will support two programs currently feeding people in need. The Genesis Center in Buffalo, a program of St. Simon’s, Buffalo, is maintaining its food pantry and offering to-go meals during New York’s stay-at-home order. The Cathedral of St. Paul and St. Mark’s in Erie are partnering with Make It Fabulous Catering, a regular vendor of the diocese, to deliver 400 boxed lunches to health care staff at the Erie VA Medical Center this week.

The need in our communities is growing as COVID-19 spreads, and future donations to the Easter offering will support feeding programs in other communities in our region. If your own income is uninterrupted during this difficult time, please give generously.
