Gabrie’l Atchison, missioner for administration, has been selected to serve on the Presiding Bishop’s delegation to the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) taking place from October 31 to November 12. During the conference, delegates will attend two to five hours of online events per day and follow a particular issue within the climate negotiations. The following online events are open to anyone interested in learning more and supporting Dr. Atchison and the entire delegation.
Episcopal Climate Advocacy at the UN: COP26 Kick-Off with the Presiding Bishop’s Delegation

As the 26th Conference of Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change draws to an end on November 12, Episcopalians are invited to gather with Episcopal advocates and ecumenical partners. The Presiding Bishop’s delegation will offer reports from its witness at the conference, as well as top-line summaries from the negotiations.
